For Rae Sykes, he is almost 100% healthy. Last season, as his team was practicing for the first round of the playoffs, he broke his arm and missed the post season.

"It was a freak accident," said Sykes. "I am trying to get to 100% and would say I am about 85%. I'm close to getting back where I was."

Sykes, 6-4 and 240 pounds, plays defensive end for Alcoa (Tenn.) High School. Last season he played opposite Brandon Warren (Florida State).

"It was a thrill to play with Brandon. We will miss him and the rest of those seniors. Maybe I will play with him in college?"

According to Sykes he has scholarship offers from schools like LSU, FSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Tennessee, Clemson, Alabama, and Kentucky.

"I like LSU, FSU, Tennessee, Georgia and Clemson.

LSU: "I visited LSU and they showed me a good time. I love their facilities.

FSU: Brandon talks about FSU all the time and how awesome it is. I will visit them for sure.

Tennessee: "There is some pressure to go to Tennessee. They are high on my list and it's close to home. That would be nice because you always need family.

UGA: "I was born in Atlanta and I like from what I have seen with Georgia.

Clemson: "Clemson is a place that I would like to get to know."

Last season as a junior Sykes recorded 85 tackles and six sacks. Top Stories
