WHY CLEMSON? "I just made the call to Coach Hobby," Campbell said on the day he made his verbal commitment to Clemson. "He was very excited. Me and my dad talked when I got back from Kansas on my official visit. We decided Clemson was the best place for me. When I was there (at Clemson), I felt at home. I felt like I do when I am here. I felt like I was at home with the guys just hanging out."

COACH BLACKWELL SAYS: "Jeremy Campbell is another prospect we are very excited about," he said. "We think he's a guy that comes in underrated and could do a number of different things for us. We are excited to have him. Of course I may be a little bit more excited because I'm the linebackers coach, but we can't wait to get him here."
