Florida quarterback Roger Heinz has committed to UNC and tells DeaconSports.com that it's a firm verbal.
"I loved the coaches," Heinz said. "They're very down to earth and easy to talk to. It's also an up and coming program with good facilites."
"They recruited me strictly as a QB and nothing else," he continued. "I spoke to Coach Bunting for 45 minutes in [his] office at camp and talked about the QB position. He just said he wanted a leader and positive QB. [Coach Bunting] was a really down-to-earth guy who could talk about any subject."
Heinz noted that he will not take any other visits except an official visit to Chapel Hill later on in the year.
13 other schools offered Heinz including Maryland, Clemson, Wake Forest, Louisville, Alabama, and Cincinnati.
