Georgia WR Will Camp at Clemson

Israel Troupe, one of the top receivers in Georgia, will make his first visit to Clemson this summer. has the latest on this blue-chip receiver in this recruiting update.

The 6-1, 200 pound prospect already has a very impressive offer list. "I have about seven or eight offers now. The most recent offer was from LSU," Troupe told in a recent interview. Other offers for the talented receiver include Clemson, Georgia, Florida, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Troy.

When asked if he has any current favorites, Troupe responded, "Everybody is about the same. I am still weighing my options."

The Tift County standout plans to establish some favorites during the season. "I will probably narrow things down next fall," stated Troupe.

The summer camp plans will include two Palmetto state visits. "I am going to camp at South Carolina, Clemson and LSU this summer. I am not sure if I will take any others."

Coach Blackwell recently spoke with the prize recruit. "I am getting a lot of mail from Clemson. I talked with Coach Blackwell the other day. He told me they are very interested in me. He said they could use a big receiver. We talked about the Clemson offense."

The Tigers may have to wait until signing day to find out Troupe's destination. "I will make a late commitment. It will probably be on national signing day."

What will be important when the star receiver selects his college? "I will be looking at athletics and academics. I will also be looking at the depth chart to see if I will get playing time or not.
