Jeremy Campbell: On The Record

Future Tiger linebacker Jeremy Campbell goes on the record with where he discusses everything from his preparations for college to his goals for his first year as a Tiger.

The Spruce Creek standout has been working hard to prepare to compete at the next level. "I have been working out in the weight room and working on my conditioning. I am getting ready for the summer workouts. I am up to about 217 pound," Campbell told in a recent interview.

The Clemson coaching staff has been staying in touch with the future Tiger linebacker. "They are telling me how excited they are to get me on campus. They say they can't wait for me to come up this summer."

The prize recruit, who is set to qualify, will enroll at Clemson this summer. "I will be coming up on July 5. I can't wait to come up and meet the guys."

What is the talented linebacker looking forward to the most about getting to Clemson? "I am just looking forward to being with the guys. I want to get to know everyone so that when the season rolls around we are all on the same page," replied Campbell.

"I am excited. I have been excited about this for a while. I can't wait to get to Clemson."

The Florida standout will finish his high school career at Spruce Creek and then spend some time with his mother before heading up to Clemson. "Next week is our last week of school. I am just going to go home to Alabama and spend some time with my mom for a little bit. I will also be getting ready to report in July."

What are Campbell's goals for his first year at Clemson? "I don't know. I would like to play if I can. If I need to redshirt I am okay with that as well.
