GA WR Talks Favorites

Israel Troupe is one of the top wide receivers in the state of Georgia and recently he made a trip south to check out the Florida Gators.

What did he think of the visit?

"It was good. I had my own personal tour guide take me around their Gainesville campus. I talked to the whole staff and they told me how much they liked me on film and how badly they wanted me at Florida. Everything was nice. The weight room is nice and the field is real nice," Israel Troupe said.

He added an offer from the SEC West Champions over the weekend.

"I got an offer from LSU the other day."

Six schools currently stand out to the Tift County star.

"Right now I like Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, Clemson, LSU and Georgia Tech. There really isn't a favorite yet," he said

Israel, who visited Clemson earlier this spring for the Orange & White game, is also a big time baseball prospect in addition to being a football star and he's led his Blue Devils into the second round of the state playoffs.

"We play in the second round of the state playoffs this week against Starrs Mill who's undefeated and ranked like No. 3 in the country. I'm just looking forward to knocking them off. I didn't play very well last week so I'm on a mission to break out of it. We play Wednesday at 3:30."
