One of the top linemen in Alabama visited Clemson over the weekend, and CUTigers.com caught up with him as he returned home from his visit. What did he think of his trip and could a verbal commitment be in the works?

Rodney Hudson Profile

The 6-3, 285 pound prospect traveled to Clemson over the weekend and took part in a one day camp on Sunday. "I went up with my mom. It was pretty good. I got there on Saturday. I went to camp this morning. I think I did pretty good," Hudson told CUTigers.com.

The Clemson coaching staff also made quite an impression on the talented lineman.

"Yeah I talked with a lot of the coaches," he said. "I didn't get to see Coach Bowden this morning because he was at church but I talked with Coach Rumph and Coach Vic. Coach Vic talked to me about the defense."

Death Valley also made a big impression on the prize recruit. "I liked the facilities. The stadium is huge. I liked it all really."

When asked about his current favorites, Hudson responded, "It is still pretty much the same. Clemson, West Virginia, Auburn, Florida State, Florida and LSU are my favorites."

The Alabama standout does not have any other visits set, but does plan to take some more over the summer. "I don't have any other visit planned right now," stated Hudson. "I plan to wait until the end of my season before I make a decision on anything."
