The 6-6, 250 pound tight end prospect will arrive in Tigertown on Tuesday. "I will be flying down on Tuesday to Raleigh. Then I will be driving down to Clemson. Right now I will visit Clemson on Tuesday and spend the night," Gronkowski told CUTigers.com.

Clemson tight ends coach Billy Napier has been working hard to get a summer visit from the 5-star tight end. "I talked with coach Napier yesterday. We just firmed up plans for the visit so I'm looking forward to getting down there," Gronkowski said.

After visiting Clemson, the prize recruit will visit Chapel Hill. "I'll be at North Carolina on Wednesday and then I will stay for the night and fly home on Thursday," he said. "My mom will be coming down with me. This will be my first visit to both schools."

What does the star tight end hope to see during the visits? "I want to see the facilities. I also want to see how good of a relationship the coaches have," replied Gronkowski.

One more visit could be on tap for later this summer. "I will also visit Ohio State this summer. I am not sure of the date yet," he added.

As a junior, Gronkowski caught 36 passes for 648 yards and seven touchdowns. He also earned first team All-Western New York and second team All-State honors.

Scout.com currently ranks Gronkowski as the No. 2 tight end prospect in the country. He currently has offers from Clemson, Florida, North Carolina, Syracuse, Arizona and Boston College among others.
