One of the top offensive linemen in Florida continues to build an impressive offer list as he prepares for his senior season. Next week, the star lineman will visit several schools, Clemson, South Carolina and North Carolina. CUTigers.com has the latest in this recruiting update.

OL Thomas Edenfield Profile

6-6, 295 pound offensive tackle prospect Thomas Edenfield traveled to Tallahassee, Fla. earlier this week and while he was there he added a scholarship offer from Florida State.

"I did pretty well there," Edenfield told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I just went down for one day. I got an offer. I went up in coach Bowden's office and he offered me a scholarship."

Clemson assistant Dabo Swinney has been recruiting Edenfield for the Tigers and next week the two will get to meet face to face as Edenfield will make an unofficial visit to Tigertown.

"I actually hear from Coach Swinney a lot. I am going up sometime next week to visit Clemson, South Carolina and North Carolina. I will probably go up for Wednesday and Thursday. It will be my first visit to all three schools," he said.

When asked about his current favorites in the recruiting process, Edenfield responded, "I really don't have any favorites right now. I will probably narrow it down some after the visits next week.

"Right now I have offers from Clemson, Florida, Florida State, South Carolina, North Carolina, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Central Florida, Indiana, and Louisville among others."

The Tigers offered one of Edenfield's teammates just a few weeks ago when rising junior quarterback Kyle Parker was offered by offensive coordinator Rob Spence at the Tommy Bowden Football camp. Edenfield said of Parker's offer, "It really won't have much impact on me but I know he likes it up there. It is probably his favorite school. We are good friends. We hang out all the time."

What will be most important to Edenfield when he makes his decision?

"I will be looking for a good atmosphere," he responded. "I will also be looking at the coaching staff and academics. Particularly the graduation rates and the majors. I am not sure about my major yet.

"I am probably going to do it in the next month. I am shooting for right before school starts. I want to get it out of the way."
