Greg Williams, a 6-2, 200-pound running back prospect plans to visit several schools this fall, including Clemson.

"I'm going to be visiting Gainesville (Fla.). I will also probably visit Pittsburgh, West Virginia and Clemson," Williams told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I am still pretty much open when it comes to recruiting. I am not sure yet when I will narrow things down."

Which teams are recruiting the Sunshine state standout the hardest at this time?

"I am hearing a lot from Pittsburgh, Minnesota, Florida and Clemson," Williams responded. "I hear a lot from Clemson. They send me a lot of mail."

What will be important to the star running back when he decides where to attend college?

"I will look at they way they run the offense," he responded. "I will see if it fits my running style. I also want to see if the team is close and also look at the coaching staff and academics."

The prize recruit says he can hurt defenses with his speed or his power.

"My strengths are my speed and my power. I have a good combination of both," he said. "I can juke people, but I can also keep pounding. I need to try and get more balanced this year. I am working hard on being quicker on my feet."

Williams also said he'll likely wait until later this year to make a decision.

"Right now I'm looking at after the season to make a decision," he added.

As a junior, Williams rushed for 1,241 yards and 15 touchdowns. He also plays varsity basketball and runs track.
