TE Rob Gronkowski Profile

Rob Gronkowski, a 6-6, 250 pound tight end prospect out of Pittsburgh, has helped lead Woodland Hills (Pa.) to a strong start this season.

"It is going pretty good. We are 3-1. I had to miss the first game. We run the ball almost every play. I have two catches 30 yards and lots pancakes," Gronkowski told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.

When asked where he stands with favorites, Gronkowski responded, "There is Clemson, Maryland, Ohio State and Louisville. I would also say Syracuse. I will take official visits to those schools."

Gronkowski will take his first official visit this weekend.

"I am going to Syracuse for an official visit this weekend," he said. "I have been to Maryland three times this fall and I have also been to Pittsburgh. Those were unofficial visits."

Gronkowski also has seen a little of the Tigers each week.

"Yeah I have watched Clemson every single week but only for a few minutes. Every time I have watched them they are winning," he said. "I am still planning to come to Clemson for the Maryland game. That will probably be an unofficial visit. I will probably go back down in January for my official visit."

Which teams are recruiting Gronkowski the hardest right now?

"Arizona, Clemson and Maryland are right now," replied the talented tight end.

A decision is still several months off for the nations No. 2 tight end prospect according to Scout.com.

"I will make my decision sometime after my season," stated Gronkowski.
