Top Junior OL Back in the Valley

Kenneth Page, one of the top junior offensive linemen in South Carolina, will be back at Clemson Saturday night to watch the No. 12 Tigers take on No. 13 Georgia Tech. Kenneth Page, a 6-5, 280 pound offensive line prospect out of Columbia's A.C. Flora High School is drawing early interest from a number of schools.

"I am hearing from Georgia Tech, Clemson, South Carolina, East Carolina, Middle Tennessee, Colorado, Duke, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech and South Florida right now," Page said. "I don't have any offers yet."

Both in-state schools have already been by to checkout the junior standout. "I have had visits from Clemson and South Carolina," he said. "Coach Scott tells me he likes me. He has talked about an offer, but hasn't officially offered yet."

The Palmetto state standout will be back in Death Valley Saturday night.

"I will be there," Page said. "I am coming down with my mom and dad. My mom has been there before, but it will be the first trip for my dad. I also was up for the North Carolina game this year."

When asked about his favorites, Page responded, "Clemson is my favorite."

If the Tigers offer will Page make a quick commitment to the Tigers?

"I would still wait a while. I want to see what my options are," Page responded. "I am looking for a good team that is winning. I will also look at academics and coaching staff."

Clemson is recruiting the talented athlete for the offensive line.

"Clemson is recruiting me as an offensive tackle. I have also talked with the defensive coaches, but they are looking at me for offense," he added. Top Stories
