OL Tyler Love Profile

Tyler Love, a 6-7, 270 pound junior lineman made his first visit to Death Valley on Saturday to take in the Tigers' game with South Carolina.

"I liked it a lot. It was better than I thought to tell you the truth. It was my first game that I ever went to at Clemson. I really liked the facilities. The recruiting room is spectacular. The game environment was amazing. The campus was also really nice," Love told CUTigers.com.

Tyler traveled to Clemson with his parents and his Mountain Brook teammate Drew Traylor who is committed to the Tigers.

"Yeah we went up with Drew and his family," he said. "My mom liked Clemson a lot. She really liked the campus. They both thought it was a great school. We are pretty good friends. We hang out a lot away from football."

The Alabama standout got to speak with several coaches during the visit.

"I got to talk with coach Bowden, coach Swinney, coach Scott, coach Spence and coach Blackwell. They were glad to have me here. Coach Scott told me he would come see me in the spring. Coach Swinney just talked to me about what I thought about the game," Love said.

When asked if he has any current favorites, Love responded, "My top five right now would be Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and Clemson. So far I have been to see Alabama and Auburn of course. I have also been to LSU."

What will be important to Love when he decides where he plans to attend college?

"I will look at the campus environment. I will look at my peers on the campus. I am definitely looking at the academics. That is high on my list. Distance will not be a big factor," he said. "I am thinking about waiting until maybe August or September to make my decision. I will take some visits and go to some camps this summer first."
