DE Tony Tucker Profile

Tony Tucker, a 6-3, 225 pound defensive end prospect received an in-home visit from two of Clemson's top recruiters this week.

"Clemson came by this week. Coach Rumph and coach Napier came by," Tucker told CUTigers.com. "They just talked to me about how I was going to make my decision. They told me what they are looking for at defensive end.

"Maryland also came by on Thursday. There have been so many visits. It is really a blur."

The 4-star defensive end also has set up several official visits during the next two months.

"I am going to Clemson the second week of January," Tucker said. "I am going to take my official visit to Pittsburgh this weekend. I take a visit to Maryland the third week of January.

"That last week of January I was thinking about visiting Boston College or Georgia Tech, but I am probably going to just take that week off and relax. I will probably just take official visits to Clemson, Pittsburgh and Maryland."

When asked where he would sign if today were signing day, Tucker responded, "They are pretty much even right now. I just want to sit down and go over the pro's and con's of each school. I can't really tell you know where I would sign.

"I want to take all of those visits. Then I will be ready to decide."

The season is over for the talented defensive end.

"Yeah we are done. I am just working out and working on my grades," Tucker added. "I am making sure that I go to study hall."
