How was your first practice this morning?
Jones: Well it was kind of unusual for me. We only have three receivers at my school. We have about six receivers out here. It was kind of difficult learning the plays out here. I only learned like two plays this morning. Hopefully this afternoon I will learn more.
How have you adapted to a new system this week?
Jones: This offense is totally different from my high school. Sometimes we can run the ball and some times we can pass, but most of the time we are just in the I formation. Plus now I have to call the plays. I am going to have to pay a lot more attention this week.
How was the visit to the Shriners Hospital Sunday?
Jones: It was kind of fun. I really didn't get to experience it that much because I came in late. We had played the state championship the night before. I got to see a few of the kids.
How firm are you with your commitment to North Carolina?
Jones: Right now I am 100 percent to Carolina, but January 6 I am going to Carolina for my official visit. Then on January 12th I am going to Tennessee. Then on the 19th it is Clemson or Florida. So I am taking official visits to Clemson, Tennessee and Florida also.
What would it take for one of the other schools to pull ahead of Carolina?
Jones: I just want to see the atmosphere and everything. I want to see what the coaches are like. I will probably just talk with my coaches and parents about which one they really like and which one they feel like the coaches are really telling the truth.
Have the Clemson commitments been recruiting you hard this week?
Jones: Yeah, it was my first time speaking with Willy this week. I have been talking with Marcus and Landon. All of them are telling me to come to Clemson. I tell them we will see.
What are your goals for Saturday?
Jones: I am just going to go out and have fun. I don't really care if I don't get the ball too much. I am just going to go all out for it and get a win.
