The Clemson Tigers have not yet offered U.S. Army All American Brandon Clear, but several other schools have recently.
"I just got offers recently from Illinios, Memphis, Northwestern and I think UCLA," Brandon told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
The Clemson staff, who already has two receiver commitments, is trying to decide if they will offer the All American receiver.
"They are still talking to my dad. I am trying to see if it is worth my while for me to go up there for a visit," he said. "I am going to visit UCLA, Illinois, Northwestern and Syracuse. I am going to hold one spot to see who else offers."
Now that the season is over Brandon is working hard in the classroom.
"I am still staying busy," he said. "We have had exams the past week. I have two more exams tomorrow. I also had a lot of coaches come down to visit last week. UCLA, Syracuse, Northwestern and Southern Mississippi visited last week. There were some others, but I can't remember them all."
Meanwhile, standout defensive end Byron Clear, who already has an offer from Clemson, recently picked up offers from Illinois and UCLA. When asked where he will take his official visits, Byron responded, "I am going to UCLA, Clemson, Syracuse, Illinois and Northwestern," he said.
Coach Swinney is keeping in touch with the Hoover standout defender.
"He just really wants me to get up there for a visit," Byron said. "He also wants to get my brother up there. My brother is holding a visit in case. Coach Swinney says he is really interested. He was impressed with my tape. He came down and watched the state championship game."
