6-4, 280 pound prospect Jatavious Jackson has three official visits planned for January, including a stop in Tigertown.

"I am going to visit LSU on January 19th. I am going to Clemson on January 26th," Jackson told CUTigers.com in a recent interview I am supposed to go to South Florida on January 12th, but I don't think I will make that one. I am also going to visit Florida State, but I don't have that one set yet. I have already visited Florida."

When asked about his favorites, Jackson responded, "I don't really have a leader. My top three would be Florida, Florida State and LSU."

The two-way standout could play offensive line or defensive tackle at the next level. Which position does he prefer?

"It doesn't really matter. I haven't really thought about it much. I just want to play," replied Jackson.

Coach West is recruiting the prize recruit for the Tigers.

"He came by before the playoffs and same my film. He really liked it," Jackson said.

Don't expect a decision from the Florida standout until February.

"I will probably wait until signing day to make my announcement," added Jackson.
