RB Ryan Houston Profile
The official visit tour begins this weekend for Shrine Bowl standout running back Ryan Houston.
"I am going to Louisville this weekend. I will be going to North Carolina next weekend. Those are the only two I have planned right now," Houston told CUTigers.com in a recent interview.
The talented running back traveled to Chapel Hill earlier this week to watch the No. 1 ranked Tar Heels play basketball, but he has not met the new coaching staff yet.
"I am in Chapel Hill right now actually. I have not met the staff yet. I have heard from them though," he said.
Houston also said he enjoyed some time at home over the holidays.
"It went pretty good," he said. "I just hung around the house."
The Clemson staff has not been in contact with Houston for several weeks.
"They haven't called me in a while so I don't have a visit planned. The last time I heard from them was several weeks ago," he said. "I would like to visit [Clemson]. If they called me I would take a visit."
Where else would Houston consider visiting if the coaches make contact?
"I would also be interested in going to see Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina State," he said, before adding, "I will probably wait until signing day to make my announcement."
