Is Markish Jones Firm to Clemson?

Clemson verbal commitment Markish Jones has been wavering of late according to several reports. Did his official visit this weekend allow him to firm things up? checks in with Markish in another recruiting update.

Who was your player host this weekend?
Jones: Jacoby Ford. Man we connected as soon as I got there.

How did you enjoy the visit?
Jones: I loved it. It was nice to see the student life. I liked how the classes were setup. We had a good time.

What was the highlight of your official visit to Clemson this weekend?
Jones: Food. We ate so much.

What did you end up doing Saturday night?
Jones: We went back to the apartments and played NCAA football for a bit. Then we went to a party.

How did you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Jones: I would probably give it a nine.

How did your meetings go with the staff Sunday morning?
Jones: It went well. They just told me what to expect and what they expected from me. They told me I could make a big change at Clemson. They said they would use me as a mix between Jacoby and Chansi. I would go across the middle as a deep threat and a lot of screens.

Did you hear about any commitments this weekend?
Jones: No, we were working on Brandon Hicks. He said he felt like Clemson was the best school for him. He had a good time.

How firm are you with your commitment to Clemson?
Jones: I would say I'm solid right now. The visit helped a lot. I met a couple of professors. I think I will major in sociology. I leave Clemson a lot more firm than when I came on Friday. I am going to take my other visits just to see what the other schools have.

Who came with you on the visit?
Jones: My parents came with me. They loved it. I didn't get to see them much because I was with the players.

How did your parents enjoy Vickery Hall?
Jones: They loved it. They said there was no way any student should make below an A in any class.

What about other visits in the coming weeks? Will you be visiting other schools before National Signing Day?
Jones: I am still going to FSU on the 19th, Tennessee on the 26th andI leave Tennessee to go to Kentucky that Sunday and Monday. Then on the February 2 I fly to Alabama. I just added that one about two weeks ago I think. Top Stories
