U.S. Army All American Will Visit Clemson

The Clemson Tigers offered a U.S. Army All American receiver earlier today. CUTigers.com has all the details in this recruiting update.

WR Brandon Clear Profile

Brandon Clear, a 6-5, 210 pound wide receiver prospect picked up an offer from the Tigers on Thursday.

"Clemson offered me today. They talked to my dad today and told him they wanted to offer. My dad had to come up to school to see the coach and he told me then," Brandon told CUTigers.com.

The visit plans quickly changed for the Clear brothers after the Tiger offered.

"We are actually going up to Clemson tomorrow after school," Brandon said. "We have swapped Clemson for Syracuse. My mother and father are coming up with us."

"I feel great about it. I really like the staff at Clemson. I like the way they are going. The education is great at Clemson. They have a 94 percent graduation rate. They also have a great quarterback coming in Willy Korn. I feel like they offer everything I need."

The U.S. Army All American got to know future Tiger quarterback Willy Korn in early January.

"I got to know Willy in San Antonio. He showed me he has a great arm," Clear said.

In terms of other visits, the Clear brothers plan to take two more trips after the Clemson.

"We are going to Illinois next weekend and then we are also going to N.C. State," he said.

Could a verbal commitment to the Tigers come this weekend?

"It could happen, but I can't look into the future. I will just have to see how things go when I get there. I want to weigh all of my options," replied Clear.
