TE Phillip Price Profile

Dillon Christian's Phillip Price, a 6-6, 255 pound tight end prospect, is taking an official visit to Clemson this weekend.

"Yes I am coming this weekend," he said. "I am coming with my mom and dad. I am looking forward to the visit."

The Tigers have not offered Price, but he hopes to learn more about the possibility of an offer this weekend.

"I will just see what happens on the visit. That is all I really know right now. I hope to figure everything out on the visit," he said. "I might look into walking on at Clemson if they don't offer."

The Clemson visit is currently the only visit planned for Price.

"I don't have any other visit plans. The other schools that have offered are a bunch of smaller schools. I have offers from Coastal Carolina, Charleston Southern and some others," Price said.

Clemson assistant Dabo Swinney is recruiting Price for the Tigers.

"He is a cool guy," he said. "I like him a lot. He is straight up. He has been very honest with me about my situation. He has been as good as can be."

Price also added, "I went to three or four games up at Clemson this year. I have seen everything there. I just want to meet some of the players and get to talk with the coaches this weekend."

Price recorded 32 catches with 12 touchdowns during his senior season.
