TE Phillip Price Profile

Dillion Christian's Phillip Price, who will look to walk on at Clemson later this year, discussed his official visit with Sunday morning:

Who was your player host this weekend?
Price: My host was Jeff Ogren. We got along real well. He is a cool guy.

How did you enjoy the visit?
Price: It is going well. I really enjoyed it.

What was the highlight of the visit?
Price: I would say everything. Everything about the visit was good. No one thing stood out. It was all good.

What did you do Saturday night when you and your host had free time?
Price: We met a few of the other players. We just hung out.

How did you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Price: It would probably be a nine. It was good. Everything was perfect.

How did your meetings go with the staff Sunday morning?
Price: It went well. They were straight up about everything. Right now we are just heading in the direction of me being a preferred walk-on. If something happens then something happens. The preferred walk-on route sounds good to me.

Did you hear about any commitments this weekend?
Price: No, sir. I did not.

Who came with you on the visit?
Price: My mom and dad. They liked it a lot up here. It was a good experience.

How did your parents enjoy Vickery Hall?
Price: They liked that a lot. They liked the fact that if I did come here I would get all the help I needed. They really liked that.

Price is being recruited to Clemson by assistant coach Dabo Swinney. Top Stories
