DB Coty Sensabaugh Profile

Coty Sensabaugh made an official visit to Clemson over the weekend as the Tigers look to possibly sign one more cornerback.

"It was a real nice visit," Sensabaugh said. "I liked it. We went up Saturday morning and came back Sunday."

The Tigers did not offer during the visit, and late Monday evening the current Appalachian State verbal commitment was still awaiting a decision.

"I talked to the coaches today," he said. "Everything is still the same. I am still waiting to see if they will offer."

"I should have heard today. Hopefully I will hear tomorrow."

The star athlete is ready to commit to the Tigers, but time is running short.

"If Clemson does offer I will commit. I told Clemson I am going to sign Wednesday after school some time," he said.

Coach Vic Koenning told the talented athlete that a decision will come shortly.

"He just old me to hang in there. He said they were trying to figure everything out," he said.

The two-way standout played receiver and defensive back for Dobyns Bennett high.

"I had 48 catches for over 900 yards and 14 touchdowns. On defense I had 25 tackles with three interceptions and eight pass breakups," Sensabaugh added.
