RB C.J. Wilson Profile
Lincolnton High (N.C.) standout C.J. Wilson (6-0, 165) is hearing from some of the top schools from across the nation.
"I am hearing from North Carolina, North Carolina State, Florida, Clemson, South Carolina, Tennessee, Wake Forest, Colorado, Florida State, Princeton and Yale," Wilson told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I don't have any offers yet. I think Duke may be close to offering."
When asked if he has any current leaders, Wilson responded, "I don't really have any. They are all about even. I am waiting to see which schools offer."
Coach Billy Napier is the recruiter of record for Wilson.
"Yeah coach Napier is recruiting me for Clemson. He has been texting me," he said. "I haven't talked with him as much lately."
The talented running back is visiting several schools over the next few weeks.
"I will probably head down to Clemson for Junior Day," he said. "I have already been to Wake Forest. I am going to South Carolina this week. I might go to Auburn, but that is real far."
The summer camp visits could also include a stop in Tigertown.
"I am not really sure where I will camp yet. I have been invited to camp at Clemson, Duke, South Carolina and Auburn.
"I am going to wait and weigh all of my options. I want to see who has the best offer on the table."
Wilson will show his speed on the track this spring.
"I am about to track tomorrow. I am also working in the weight room a lot," stated Wilson.
