LB Jonathan Williard Profile

The offer list continues to grow for 6-2, 210 pound Jonathan Williard.

"right now I have offers from South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee, Clemson and Florida," Williard told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I am also hearing from a lot of others. I am hearing from Florida State, Michigan, Auburn, Kansas and others."

When asked about his current favorites, Williard responded, "Clemson, South Carolina, North Carolina and Tennessee are my favorites right now. They are all kind of even."

The Palmetto standout will visit several of his favorites over the next few weeks.

"I am going to South Carolina on Saturday. Next weekend I will go to Junior Day at Clemson. I will probably go to some others, but I am not sure yet," he said.

Last summer Williard camped at Clemson. Will he be back this summer?

"Yeah, I will be back at Clemson this summer. I will also go to the Nike camp and the Scout combine," Williard responded.

Former Clemson Tiger Richard McCullough is Willard's uncle and he could have an impact on his decision.

"There is a family tradition of going up there and watching games and stuff," he said. "I have been hearing some of the stories about when he was at Clemson."

A verbal commitment should come from Williard before the end of summer.

"I want to make my decision before the beginning of the season. I want to get it out of the way." What will Williard consider when deciding on a college?

"I am looking for a good environment. I will also look at my chances for early playing time. I will also look for a good education and good graduation rates," replied Williard.

Coach Dabo Swinney is recruiting the Loris standout for the Tigers.

"Yeah he is a pretty cool guy," he said. "I saw him a lot last year."

What are the strengths of the talented linebacker?

"I would say my strength is my speed. I am also going to hit you," added Williard.
