Tommy Bowden Post Scrimmage Audio

CLEMSON - Listen to Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden discuss Saturday's scrimmage.

What do you think are some of the problems with Richard Jackson are, particularly today?
Bowden: Youth and inexperience. He's got talent. Got the strength. Strictly inexperience. Buchholtz wasn't here because of a soccer scrimmage.

Are you starting to determine a definite pecking order at quarterback right now?
Bowden: I'm starting to formulate some opinions in my mind. I'd like to keep them private at this point in time. I'll let Rob explain if he wants to. I'm just kind of laying low right now.

You said yesterday you would be happy if the defense won the scrimmage. Did you see that out there today?
Bowden: They didn't control it as much as they did Wednesday. It was a lot more back and forth today than it was last Saturday.

Is Cullen simply making plays based on his experience and maturity?
Bowden: Well he's a pretty good player I think. He has the most experience and he's showing it. He's doing the things he needs to do to keep where he is. He's got the expeirence therefore he should perform the most consistent and he has. He's done a pretty good job too. I don't want to take anything away from his attention to detail and his sense of urgency. Top Stories
