SC RB/LB Prospect Visiting Clemson has all the details in this recruiting update.

Abbeville's Qua Qua Gilchrist, the top running back in South Carolina, will visit Clemson in the next few weeks.

"I am going to visit Clemson soon," he told in a recent interview. "I should be going the first week in May. I will be coming with my mom."

Could the Palmetto standout commit to the Tigers during the visit?

"Yes I might. It depends on how everything goes," replied Gilchrist.

What are the chances that Gilchrist will commit to the Tigers during the visit?

"I would say about 80 percent. Clemson is a strong leader right now," replied Gilchrist.

"Right now I just love Clemson. They are the school I really want to play for. Clemson is the place for me."

The prize recruit has been keeping in touch with the Clemson coaching staff.

"I talked to them last week. I was supposed to go to the spring game, but I couldn't because I had a track meet. I needed to qualify for the regional track meet. I made it," said Gilchrist.

Gilchrist said his mother is supportive of his decision, regardless of where he attends college.

"She is very supportive. She will follow me wherever I go. I am sure she will like it if I am close to home," said the star running back.

Gilchrist is alos showing his athleticism on the track this spring.

"in fact I had a track meet tonight. I won the 100 (meters)," said Gilchrist. Top Stories
