S Jamoris Slaughter Profile
4-star safety Jamoris Slaughter from Tucker, Ga. continues to see scholarship offers roll in from the nation's top programs.
"I think I have about 16 offers right now," Slaughter told CUTigers.com in a recent interview. "I got an offer from Michigan this week. Other recent offers are LSU and Oklahoma."
The Tigers have offered the prize recruit, but they need to get him on campus to move up on his list of favorites.
"Clemson has offered me. I like Clemson, but I haven't been there yet," he said.
When asked about his current leaders, Slaughter responded, "I would say Notre Dame, Georgia, Michigan, California and Alabama. They are the main ones right now.
"I just visited Notre Dame on the 21st for their spring game. I really liked it there. It was nice. I met a lot of the coaches and the head coach. I got to tour the campus. It was neat."
The summer visit tour will include stops at some of the top programs in the country.
"I don't think I will go to any summer camps. I will mainly just take visits. I want to go to Florida, California, Michigan, LSU , Alabama and as many as I can fit in this summer."
The summer visits will be crucial for the schools recruiting the top safety as he will make his decision shortly after summer is over.
"I will probably make an early decision. It will probably be before the season or right after it starts," said the talented defender.
"I will be looking at the academics. I want to make sure I will have a good career after football. Then I will look at the football program."
