"I am going to camp at Clemson, Virginia and State this summer. I may go to a few others, but I am not sure yet," said Mattes. Which teams are recruiting the prize recruit the hardest at this time?

"I want to go where I am comfortable with the coaches. I want to like the college and feel good about the academics," replied Mattes.

"I am good at pass protection and I have good feet. I also have the ability to be a leader," stated Mattes. will get to evaluate Mattes along with other top prospects from the southeast at the combine in Charlotte on May 14.

"I am not sure about visits the next few weeks. I will be going to some combines. I am going to the Scout combine at the Panthers facilities so I'm looking forward to that," he added. Top Stories
