Former Clemson defensive lineman Brentson Buckner, a veteran of the National Football League for 12 seasons, is now working at Victory Christian Center in Charlotte as a defensive coordinator. stopped by Victory Christian late last week to talk with Buckner about a possible future in coaching at the college or NFL level, and also about defensive end Kourtnei Brown, one of the Tigers' highest ranked signees in the 2007 recruiting class.

"Kourtnei Brown is a physical phenom," said Buckner. "He's a guy about 6-5, 6-6, can easily weigh up to 270 pounds. Runs like a DB. Agile like a running back. Right now I'm just trying to work with him on his explosiveness, trying to get him ready for the next level."
