DE Quinton Coples Profile

Kinston High (N.C) was filled with college coaches the past few weeks wanting to check on 4-star defensive end Quinton Coples.

"A lot of schools have been here," he told in a recent interview. "Michigan State, NC State, Florida State and Virginia Tech were all here this week. Clemson and North Carolina were here last week."

When asked about his current favorites, Coples responded, "I really don't have any right now." The top defensive end has a very impressive offer list including most of the nation's top programs. Coples said he plans to visit several out of state schools this summer.

"I have 32 offers right now. I am going to visit several schools this summer. I know I am going to Florida, Florida State and Michigan. I will also go to some others, but not sure where yet."

Which teams are recruiting the prize recruit the hardest right now?

"Florida, Florida State, Carolina and State would be," replied Coples.

The commitment timing is up in the air for the talented defender.

"I really don't know when I will make a decision. I don't have any idea," replied Coples.

What will be most important when the Kinston standout makes a decision?

"I will look at the overall impression of the coaches. I want to find a place where they make me feel like I am at home. I will also look at the graduation rates. I want to find a team that will be winning," replied Coples.
