Rees Planning for Ball State?

Big offensive lineman Trevor Rees has gotten off to a fast start this year for Pearland High School located in Pearland, Texas. As it stands now, one of the top centers in the south will likely be in Tiger Town this weekend for the Clemson-Ball State game.

Trevor Rees Profile

In case you missed it, Trevor Rees was named to the Houston Chronicle's All-Greater Houston pre-season team late last week which is quite honor considering the quanity of talent that comes out of the Houston area.

Trevor was also named as lineman of the week this past week for Pearland High School. Rees helped pave the way for two quarterback sneaks for touchdowns in a 61-12 route of FB Willowridge High School.

"During one play, he broke off his block to lay out a defender who had come around the end and was chasing the quarterback. It took the poor kid a couple of minutes to get back up," said a source close to the Pearland program.

"Pearland doesn't keep statistics on pancake blocks, but whoever was being blocked by Trevor was either on the ground or moving backwards all night long."

Rees has already set up a visit in early January to Clemson and one more to Northwestern in December. He's also making arrangements this week to attend the Ball State game on Saturday.

Trevor is currently ranked as a 3-star prospect by, with offers on the table from Clemson, Kansas, Pittsburgh, and Northwestern. He's also drawing interest from Colorado and several other schools in the Big XII.
