Alex Williams (5'11, 200, 4.5) weighed in at the Nike Camp at 185 pounds, and he has worked hard this summer to get bigger and stronger. Williams said that he is now up to 200 pounds after almost 5 months of weight training. He had an excellent season last year with 116 total tackles from his linebacker spot at West Laurens High School in Dublin, GA, and he is off to a fast start this year as well.
"I have about 25 tackles in our first 2 games," said Williams. "We're 1-1 so far, and we play Southwest Macon this weekend. I didn't get a chance to go to any camps this summer, because we moved. I've been to a couple of games already though. I went to the Georgia/Clemson and the Florida/Miami game. Florida and LSU have offered me scholarships so far. My top teams are Florida, Georgia, Clemson, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech."
Williams is an excellent student athlete that has honor roll grades and a qualifying test score on his SAT already. He also plays basketball and runs track, but football will be his meal ticket to college.
