CB Xavier Brewer Profile

One of the top cornerbacks in the south, Florida's Xavier Brewer, is hoping to attend one of Clemson's summertime camps in June.

However in a recent interview with CUTigers.com, Brewer said he still has not solidified his plans.

"I am not sure yet," he said. "I need to check our practice schedule. Then I will know if I can come up to Clemson. I think Kyle [Parker] is planning to go with our tight end."

When asked about his current favorites in the recruiting process, Brewer responded, "Florida, Clemson, Alabama and LSU are my top four.

"All four of my favorites are probably recruiting me the same right now."

Brewer also said his visits this summer will be critical as he plans out his future.

"Right now I can tell you I really want to have my decision made sometime this summer. I want to get it done before the season gets started," he said.

Not surprisingly, current Clemson commitment and teammate QB Kyle Parker is working hard to convince Xavier to join him at Clemson.

"Yeah, he works me hard. He talks about Clemson every day," stated Brewer.

Brewer, who already visited Clemson in April on an unofficial visit, has offers from many of the traditional powers in the south, including Georgia, Miami, LSU and Florida.
