Henderson Planning Clemson Visit

This talented prospect has been favoring the Hurricanes since day one but the Canes haven't offered yet and he's starting to rake in some impressive offers, including the Clemson Tigers. Henderson has begun to plan his initial visits, and you might be pleased to hear where one of them will take him.

At 6-foot-7 and 325 pounds, Lehigh (Fla.) Lehigh Acres standout offensive lineman Mario Henderson has helped his team off to an impressive 2-0 start in which they've outscored their opponents by a combined score of 85-7.

"Things have been going real well for us," Henderson said. "I've been impressed with the way our team and myself have been playing. We get a big test Friday against Fort Myers and I'll be going both ways against them."

Henderson, who will take the ACT next Saturday, also talked about the recruiting process. "I'm still hearing a lot from Clemson, Florida, and Central Florida," he said.

"Those coaches call me every week. Pittsburgh and Louisville have also offered me. I'm still waiting to talk to Coach Kehoe as well. I'm hoping they'll call sometime this week because I still like Miami a lot."

Henderson is about to start setting up some official visits. "Clemson told me they want me to come in the weekend of their football banquet after the season," he said. "Florida has asked about sometime in December. Those are the only two I'll take for sure for now."
