OL Bobby Massie Profile

6-7, 330 pound lineman Bobby Massie will take an unofficial visit to Clemson this weekend.

"I am going down to Clemson on Saturday," he said. "I am going to stay the night and come home Sunday. My mom and dad are coming with me. "I am going to take all of the tours. I want to see everything with my parents, I want to see as much as I can."

Clemson assistant/recruiting coordinator Billy Napier is working hard to convince the Virginia standout that he should be running down the hill in Death Valley in the future.

"I just got a finished texting with coach Napier a little while ago actually. He said they are going to blow me away this weekend," said Massie.

When asked about his current leader, Massie responded, "Georgia is still my leader."

What will it take for the Tigers to pull ahead this weekend?

"It will be for me to feel more comfortable. I would need to feel that Clemson is the place for me," replied Massie.

The Tigers could alos get the final visit before Massie makes his decision.

"I am supposed to go to Virginia Tech, but I am taking summer school so I am not sure if I will make it," said Massie.

A commitment could come as early as next week.

"After I come back from Clemson I am going to sit down with my parents and my coach and talk about it. I want to go ahead and make a decision so I can concentrate on my team and my season," said Massie.

A former Tiger that worked with the prize recruit at the VTO combine, could help the Tigers chances of landing the outstanding lineman.

"I texted Brenston today. I haven't heard back from him yet," said Massie.
