CB Janoris Jenkins Profile

CUTigers.com caught up with Janoris Jenkins as he and several of his teammate were taking an unofficial visit up North.

"I am at Rutgers right now," Jenkins told CUTigers.com. "I am up here with Martavious Odoms. It is going good."

The 4-star cornerback plans to visit Tigertown in the next few weeks.

"I am going to Clemson soon. It will be one of the weekends coming up soon," said Jenkins. When asked about his current favorites in the recruiting process, Jenkins responded, "I don't really have any right now. I am not ready to announce a top five or anything."

A decision will not come from Jenkins until late in the recruiting process.

"I plan to wait till after my season. It will probably come closer to signing day," said Jenkins.

With an impressive offer list including many of the top programs in the Southeast, Jenkins has lost count of his offers.

"I have a lot of offers. I don't keep count any more. I think I have about 25 or so," stated the talented athlete.

Jenkins added he is planning at least one camp visit this summer.

"I know I am going to camp at Florida State. That camp is on July 11. I don't know about any other visits yet. LSU is trying to get me to come down there," said Jenkins.

A talented two-way player, Jenkins helped lead his team to the Class 2B state title as a junior. He finished the regular season with 698 yards (11.6 per carry) and six touchdowns. Defensively, he had 49 tackles, which led all Pahokee defensive backs.
