TE Will Paul Profile

How have things been going for you so far this season?
Paul: Things are going well. We are only 1-2, on offense I haven't been getting the ball a lot because I'm blocking and on defense they are either running away from me or I'm getting double teamed, but things are still going pretty good.

Have you been playing tight end a good bit this year?
Paul: No actually I've been playing fullback mostly. I've gotten a couple of rushing attempts but only probably 10 in 3 games. I've been used mostly as a blocker.

Which schools are recruiting you the hardest right now?
Paul: I've cut my list down to two or three schools now. Michigan, Illinois and Wisconsin are the three I'm looking at right now.

Still thinking about making a trip down to Clemson this year?
Paul: My dad talked to Brad Scott and told him that I liked Clemson but I don't think they were for me just because to keep playing later on down the line I'll have a better chance to play defense.

So you'd rather play defense in college?
Paul: Clemson was mainly recruiting me as a tight end, but I'd rather be on the defensive line in college, I think I'll have more opportunities right now. I think I'd love Clemson, but I want to play on defense.

Have you set up official visits to your top three yet?
Paul: Just to Michigan and Illinois, but I'm going up to Illinois this weekend, and they are playing Michigan.

We'd like to conclude by thanking Will Paul for taking the time to speak with us.
