CB Janoris Jenkins Profile

Pahokee (Fla.) standout Janoris Jenkins will make an unofficial visit to Clemson next week.

"I am going to visit Clemson next Friday," he said. "I am going up with one of my coaches. I am not bringing any of my teammates."

The 4-star prospect visited Florida a few weeks ago.

"I went to Friday night lights. It was great. I liked it a lot," said Jenkins.

When asked about his current favorites, Jenkins responded, "I don't have any right now."

The prize recruit should begin to determine some favorites over the next few months.

"I will probably narrow it down during the middle of my season," he said. "I will take some official visits and wait until after my season to make a decision."

Which teams are recruiting Jenkins the hardest right now?

"I would say Florida, Auburn, South Carolina and Rutgers," replied Jenkins.

A talented two-way player, Jenkins helped lead his team to the Class 2B state title as a junior. He finished the regular season with 698 yards (11.6 per carry) and six touchdowns.

Defensively, he had 49 tackles, which led all Pahokee defensive backs.
