4-Star Starts Senior Year with Bang

Several new top programs are starting to show significant interest in 4-star prospect Chris Jordan. Has the new interest impacted his leaderboard? How did the Tennessee standout do in his first game? CUTigers.com has the latest in this recruiting update.

RB/LB Chris Jordan Profile

6-2, 210 pound prospect Chris Jordan had an outstanding performance to begin his senior season with Brentwood Academy.

"It went pretty well," he said. "We won 35-14. I had 30 carries for 211 yards and four touchdowns. I just played offense. We had to cancel the game after halftime because of heat lightning. Then we came back Saturday night to finish the second half.

"This week we play Ravenwood. It should be a good game. Last year we beat them in overtime by one point."

The 4-star prospect does not have any plans yet to catch some games this fall.

"I doubt I will go to any games this weekend. I need to talk with some coaches. I don't have any visits setup yet to go see games," said Jordan. "I know I am going to visit Alabama the first week of December."

The Clemson Tigers will get an official visit, but the exact date has not been finalized.

"I haven't set one with Clemson yet. I need to talk to coach Napier once they can start calling again," said Jordan.

When asked about his current favorites, Jordan responded, "I really don't know now. A lot more schools are showing me attention right now. Alabama and Clemson are still up there. I need to get over to visit Clemson. I haven't had the chance to visit yet."

Which new teams are showing strong interest in Jordan?

"Georgia is showing more interest. Tennessee is also starting to again," replied Jordan.
