"Clemson On My Mind"

Could the Tigers sway this four-star wide receiver from his current SEC commitment? CUTigers.com has all the details in this recruiting update.

WR Tavarres King Profile

6-1, 175 pound Tavarres King was in Death Valley Monday night to watch the Tigers battle and beat 19th-ranked Florida State.

"I came up with my dad, mom and sister," he said. "We didn't get home until 2:15. I skipped the 1st and 2nd block on Tuesday." "It was an electrifying game. I love watching Clemson play. We are big Clemson fans. It was just fun."

The elder King really enjoyed being back in Death Valley.

"My dad loved it. He gets to go to more games now that the little guy is getting so much attention," said King.

The 4-star receiver committed to Georgia earlier this year, but the Tigers haven't stopped recruiting him. Where does he stand with his commitment to the Dawgs?

"I am solid with Georgia," replied King. "I went because they asked me to come. It is hard to get Clemson fully out of your system. I grew up liking Clemson. I was born liking Clemson. It is just hard to stay away and not like Clemson any more. I feel like I will always be a Clemson fan. I am a Bulldog that is a Clemson fan."

Is there anything that could cause the prize recruit to change his mind?

"It is not for me to say. Time will tell. I don't see anything different right now. I am an important guy now for Clemson now that a few things have come up," replied King.
