Super Soph Plans More Clemson Visits

One of the top sophomores in North Carolina made a return visit to Death Valley Saturday and will be back one more time later this year. has the latest in this recruiting update.

6-2, 215 pound sophomore Prince Shembo traveled back to Death Valley for the second time this fall to watch the Tigers battle the Hokies.

"I liked it a lot," he said. "I was disappointed they lost, but the defense played great. My dad liked it a lot. It was his first big college game." What did Prince think of the crowd in Death Valley?

"The crowd was crazy. It was so loud," replied Shembo.

The top defender was very impressed with the play of the Clemson defense Saturday night.

"The defense is just crazy. They played great. The crowd goes crazy for the defense. I watched Watkins, Merling, Clemons and Ricky Sapp," he said.

Clemson assistant coach/recruiting coordinator Billy Napier spoke with Prince during the visit before the game.

"I got to talk with coach Napier. He stopped by to say high," said Shembo. "I also talked with some of the other guys there. I got to talk with Daquan Bowers. I also talked some with Devonte Holloman."

Another trip to Death Valley is already planned for later this year.

"I will be back for the Wake Forest game," said Shembo. "I'm looking forward to it."

Shembo also added he is now starting to hear from the Florida Gators in the recruiting process. Top Stories
