Young Takes Unofficial Visit

Union OL Eric Young, one of the most sought after offensive linemen in the country, took an unofficial visit this weekend. What did he think of his trip and who remains in his top 5? Details inside.

Union High School in South Carolina is one of the top teams in the Palmetto State. Last weekend, they lost their first game to Newberry, 22-14.

"Man, I had a terrible game," said All-American offensive line prospect Eric Young. "I usually grade out in the 80's but I ended up at 72%. I was really playing well up until last week."

Young is the number one offensive line prospect in the nation according to He projects as an offensive guard at the next level, even though some schools are recruiting him as a defensive end.

"Right now, I like South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina and Clemson. I want to visit all those schools but one will be left out."

Over the weekend, Young took an unofficial to Georgia for their game against Tennessee.

"Man they have nice facilities. I had a good talk too with Coach Richt and Coach Callaway. I had a good time and I think I will take a visit there for sure." Top Stories
