Larry Raper, one of the nation's fastest prospects at last year's combines and a current Clemson verbal commitment, has helped lead Shelby (N.C.) to an undefeated season.

"Everything is going good," he said. "We are 10-0 and going to the playoffs. We play West Oak this week. I had to miss our last game. I hurt my Achilles tendon but I should be able to play this week.

"I think we have a pretty easy road but you can't take anybody lightly."

The speedster has seen the endzone frequently this year.

"I have 12 touchdowns on the year. I am not sure how many yards I have. We spread the ball around a lot," said Raper.

Raper also said he expects to be back in Death Valley during the next two weeks.

"My brother wants to go down for the Boston College game. I might go down for both," said Raper. "It should be a lot of fun."
