S Daniel Andrews Profile
6-0, 190 pound safety Daniel Andrews will take an unofficial visit to Clemson this weekend.
"We are leaving tonight after our game," he said. "My dad is coming with me. We will be going up with Jamie Harper."
The Tigers were the first major offer for the talented safety.
"Clemson offered me last Friday," said Andrews.
Another ACC Power offered soon after the Tigers and the national champs may be added to the list shortly.
"Miami offered me on Monday or Tuesday. I am talking to Florida now. I think they may offer," said Andrews.
The star safety has a close relationship with teammate and four-star running back Jamie Harper.
"We are like brothers. We played Pop Warner together and have played together since. We have a close relationship," said Andrews.
Is the Trinity Christian standout close to making a commitment?
"Not right now. I am just kind of waiting. I want to see what else comes my way," replied Andrews.
Andrews has also setup an official visit to Clemson in January.
"I am going to Clemson on January 11 for an official with Jamie. I will also take one to Miami and Florida sometime soon. They will probably be in January also," said Andrews.
Clemson commitment Kyle Parker is also good friends with Andrews.
"Me and KP are good friends. We played junior high ball together when he was at Trinity Christian. We will meet up there tonight with them at Clemson," said Andrews.
