"Something Special"

4-star safety Spencer Adams visited Death Valley again Saturday night. How did the atmosphere compare with other visits? Could the Clemson official visit date be moving? CUTigers.com has the latest in this recruiting update.

Clemson's top safety target Spencer Adams traveled to Clemson Saturday.

"It was fun man," he said. "The atmosphere was great. It was really something special. Before the kickoff how loud the stadium was. The only place I might compare it to would be Virginia Tech."

The Butler standout had the chance to speak with coach Napier briefly before the game.

"I didn't really get to talk with coach Napier much. We talked briefly while we were still on the field for warm-ups," said Adams.

Another official visit is on tap for this weekend.

"I am going to Florida this weekend," said Adams.

The Tigers will get the final official visit.

"I will go to Clemson sometimes after Thanksgiving. It might be after the ESPN All-star game. I haven't worked out the details," said Adams.

A fifth official visit is still up in the air.

"I might take one other visit if I find a school that really interests me in the next couple of weeks. I am not sure yet," said Adams.

When does Adams plan to make his final decision?

"When I get back from the Florida visit I will sit down and evaluate some of the schools. I was thinking I might announce after the ESPN all-star game I don't know yet. If I decide to announce then I will try to move up my Clemson visit. I really do like Clemson," replied Adams.

Now the senior football season is behind him, Adams can relax a little over the holiday.

"Now that the season is over I am going to take this week off and relax a little bit. I might take two weeks. I will probably start up indoor track in the next week or two just so I stay in shape," said Adams.

Does the 4-star prospect have a good idea where he wants to go or does he still have a ways to go to make his decision?

"I am kind of at a stage where I really don't know where I want to go yet, but I know there are certain places that I really like. I really like North Carolina, Florida, Michigan and definitely Clemson. I want to make sure I take a look at everyone so I don't regret my decision down the road," replied Adams.
