Tigers Offer New Offensive Lineman

Ken Shackleford has the prototype body to play offensive tackle on the next level. He is tall, strong, big, and has a solid base. He plays both ways for Villa Rica High School and has gotten his second big time offer. Could the Tigers be looking to grab some more talent on the offensive line?

"Clemson just offered me," said Shackleford. "I still have the offer from Georgia. Georgia is talking to me about playing offensive line, but they said they would let me start out where I wanted to. I like playing defense better right now. I'm not sure what Clemson wants me to play."

Shackleford has been to Athens for 2 of the games so far. "I've been to the Georgia/Clemson and the Georgia/Tennessee games. I haven't set up any official visits yet, but my favorite schools are probably Georgia then Clemson, Florida, Miami, and Ohio State."

Shackleford may like defensive line better right now, but he has All-American potential at offensive tackle. He's currently listed as a 3-star prospect by TheInsiders.com.
