CHICK-FIL-A BOWL DIARY: James Davis

ATLANTA – Each day while Clemson is in Atlanta preparing for the Chick-fil-A Bowl, Tigers star running back and Atlanta native James Davis will give CUTigers.com an account of what he's been doing on a daily basis and what his thoughts are about those experiences.

Yesterday after practice, me and C.J. (Spiller) hung out and ate at Copeland's and went to the mall and just walked around the mall and did a little shopping. I bought some things for my new phone. We didn't really anything major. We actually got back to the room kind of early.

Practice went real well today. We wound up just putting on shells and that ended up going good. A lot of guys are getting real aggressive and that's kind of what we want to see when you're playing a team like Auburn. So that was pretty good with all those guys being aggressive.

Coach (Tommy) Bowden said he better not catch anybody in Goosebumps (a strip beside the hotel). That was kind of funny that he said that after practice. A lot of the guys laughed about it because I knew some of the guys probably had been by there or been in there. So I thought that was pretty funny. I don't know anybody that's been there, but I know some guys probably went by there because you can see them when you drive by.

(C.J. and I) will probably go somewhere tonight, like a club or something like that and have a little fun. Before that, I'll probably spend more time with my family and play more video games with my brother and probably will have my daughter with me.
