OL Antoine McClain Profile

Clemson head coach Tommy Bowden and coach Dabo Swinney stopped by Alabama Monday night to meet with four-star tackle Antoine McClain.

"They came by the house," he said. "They just let my parents know what they told me during the visit. It was a good visit."

Antoine's mother was impressed with what she heard Monday night.

"My mom loved it. She had to work this weekend so she couldn't go on the visit," said McClain. "I still have visits to LSU, Auburn and Tennessee. I will take all of those visits and announce on signing day."

How did McClain rate his weekend visit to Tigertown?

"I would give it a 8.5," replied McClain.

Did the official visit and the in-home visit by head coach Tommy Bowden help the Tiger's chances of landing the top lineman?

"Oh yeah. I have always liked them, but now I got to see it for myself. Now I know what Clemson is all about," replied McClain.

The four-star standout says it will not be hard for him to leave the state of Alabama.

"It will not be hard. I don't look at it as staying close to home. I want to find the best opportunity for me," said McClain.
