Visit Helps Clemson's Chances with WR

One of the top wide receiver prospects in the south made the quick trip to Clemson this weekend for his official visit. What's next for the talented dual-threat star? Read on to find out!

Can you talk about your official visit and what you did during your time on campus?
Brown: It went great. I really liked it. My parents really enjoyed it. I just had a good time overall.

Who came with you on your trip?
Brown: Just me and my parents.

What were some of the highlights?
Brown: I think the highlight was hanging out with Terrance Ashe. I got to see how the student life was. I really enjoyed the awards banquet. I hung out with Rendrick Taylor, Bowers and all of the receivers.

How would you rate the visit on a scale of one to 10?
Brown: I would give it a 10. I had fun. Of course my parents enjoyed it.

How did your conversations go with the coaching staff?
Brown: Great. I had a chance to talk with all of the coaches. Coach Bowden had a chance to talk with him. My parents enjoyed talking with Bowden.

Did you hear about any verbal commitments this weekend?
Brown: No sir.

Did you commit during the visit?
Brown: No.

When do you plan to make your decision?
Brown: Sometime after all of my visits. I still want to take them all before I decide. Right now Clemson is still my leader but I want to wait to decide or to make an annoucement.

Did the visit help Clemson's chances of signing Brown?
Brown: Yes I think it definitely did. I really enjoyed myself. Just want to take all visits and think things through.

Do you know when coach Bowden plans an in-home visit?
Brown: I think sometime the week after this.

Brown could play on either side of the ball at the next level but he has said in the past in prefers wide receiver. If he signs with Clemson, he will have that option to play on offense.
